We are looking for a committed and business-oriented software engineer to join our high performing software engineering team!
The team is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that are either part of Connexion’s product portfolio or used as internal support systems. We have been on a journey for a few years now to step up activities in software engineering, and you will play an important role in maintaining and further enhancing our solutions, processes, and team culture.
In this role, you will build and implement development, test, and production environments. You will produce high-quality code that drives robust, secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions, that are easy to maintain, operate and comply with our Secure Development Policy. Additionally, you will produce test-frameworks and/or automated CI/CD and test automation as well as take on specific DevOps-responsibilities.
This role reports to our Head of Software Engineering and is located in Karlskrona, Göteborg or Stockholm.
As a software engineer at Telenor Connexion, your key responsibilities are to develop software solutions which are future proof, cost-effective, scalable and being a subject matter expert in questions related to cloud technology and solution components.
You will also need to:
Keep up with market/industry trends and new functionality on at least one vendor platform (AWS or Salesforce)
Stay up to date with industry best practice related to cloud-, API-, serverless and event driven architectures, as well as agile development and general software engineering best practice
Support and train operations in the maintenance and operations of the solution, where the DevOps framework resulted in such responsibility
Document solution and best practices
MSc/ BSc in Software Engineering or similar
Technically skilled on the AWS platform
AWS Solution Architect Associate certificate is desirable, or the applicant needs to show knowledge at corresponding level
Experienced as a developer in one or several of Java, Node.JS, Python programming languages
Experience in Software development methodologies, tools, and best practices
Industry experience is meritorious
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Swedish is meritorious
Swedish work permit
